Dedication for new Early College High School building

The Horry County Board of Education will dedicate the new Horry County Schools Early College High School on Tuesday, August 13, at 6 p.m. The celebration will be held at the site of the new school located on the Conway campus of Horry Georgetown Technical College on Highway 501. A map is attached.

The HCS Early College High School is a small, personalized learning environment that integrates high school and college courses, enabling students to earn a high school diploma and up to two years of college credit at the same time. Students take rigorous coursework, participate in service learning projects, and benefit from career life planning, counseling, and academic coaching—all to make sure they have the preparation needed to achieve their educational goals.
