Free GED practice tests available through Adult Education
September 22 through October 3, Conway and Myrtle Beach
HCS Adult Education is giving away free GED practice tests to all students who visit the Conway Education Center or Myrtle Beach Family Learning Center from September 22 through October 3. Students can “See For Free” and take the GED Ready practice test between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Conway Education Center, 1601 Sherwood Drive, or Myrtle Beach Family Learning Center, 3101 Oak Street. A Saturday test will be given from 1:00 to 4:00 on September 27.
The new “See for Free” program is designed to help students determine if they are ready to take and pass the official GED test. If not, the practice test will highlight which skills they need to work on to pass the test, and Horry County Schools Adult Education will offer personalized study plans. Students will also learn about other classes and resources such as earning a Work Keys career readiness certificate, preparing for college, and computer literacy skills.
Space is limited for the free practice tests and students are encouraged to register early. To register or for more information, students may call Adult Education at 843-488-6200 or visit http://hcae.horrycountyschools.net.
